bonkeli is a Swedish brand designed and manufactured by Hanna and Jeppe Larsen since 2005. They use certified organic cotton and are currently launching their first items in Cradle to Cradle-certified fabric. Production is based in Stockholm but the brand is sold on three continents and in 10 different countries. Their machines are wind powered and they do their deliveries in Stockholm by cargo bike!

Hanna and Jeppe are such great supporters of Big Blue Cuddle and its fundraising that they provide us with their current collection and new stock. We had to point this out as it is truly wonderfully generous of them.

Hektik.cc, the design company from The Netherlands, known for the quirky and adorable animal characters that adorn their line of cool baby clothing.

The fun-loving, quirky Hektik universe and its many, cute inhabitants are the brainchild of Dutch designers Gaudi Hoedaya and Ursula Wurzinger. Starting point for their adventure was a mutual desire to create a new kind of baby clothing with more character than the standard toddler’s apparel, and this idea quickly grew into a whole range of stylized but instantly recognizable animal characters that adorn their adorable products.

All products are produced in a sweatshop free environment and assembled in the Netherlands.

LipFish was founded in 2004 by Jenny Boije almost at the same time as she had her first son Max. She decided to start a small scale company, teamed up with a swedish agent and made a simple web page. With the help of  that web page and what proved to be a popular concept LipFish has rapidly expanded and is now available in 20 countries.

The world’s desire for cotton products is proving too much for our earth to cope with as it takes up loads of water and land to be produced, so the idea behind Supernatural Kids Clothing is to find new natural based fibres to give us equally lovely alternatives.  We’ll be using fabrics made from anything from seaweed to milk - as long as they are sustainably produced, soft to touch and have really good after care qualities – ie they don’t need things like energy-hungry processes such as tumble drying!  Did you know that if everyone in the UK who has a dryer did just one load less drying a year, we'd save enough CO2 to power 36% of all the street lights in Northern Ireland! Koeka is a clothing brand that originated in the Netherlands, and was set up in 1998 by Margareth de Haas and Jeannette Kraaijeveld .

Both Margareth and Jeannette had many years’ experience in the fashion industry when each of them became a mother for the first time.  From the start, each of them found themselves looking for items for their babies that were simply not available and it was in order to fulfil that need that the Koeka brand was born.

Ava&Luc was born in September 2010. Fed up with pastel blues and pinks, ‘cutesie’ prints and highly impractical garment design, we began to sketch out what we felt would be an ‘ideal’ play suit, T shirt and pyjamas and received lots of positive feedback. We set about manufacturing a capsule collection of clothing with an ethical supplier based in India, where no child labour is used and employees are paid fairly for working reasonable hours.

All of our items are manufactured using highest quality, soft organic cotton and only ecologically sound dyes are used. Every last detail has been carefully considered in terms of design and comfort. Each item has been tried and tested by our beloved friends and family to ensure that it is absolutely perfect. We hope that you will agree!

Modéerska Huset makes unisex fashion for children who play and fantasise with loads of quirky prints in gorgeous colours. The garments are designed for comfort and to suit the various seasons of the year. All the prints and graphics are drawn by hand and this gives the collections a very unique look. Modéerska Huset was founded by Jenny Modéer in 2011. Modéerska Huset is also the oldest house in a little rural town called Mönsterås in the county of Småland in Sweden, were Jenny’s granddad was born and grew up.

Environmentally friendly is sustainable! Modéerska Huset strives to make the collections with as little environmental impact as possible, and therefore the materials used are of 100% certified organic cotton.

Amy, the designer and owner of Sweet Marcel, draws design inspiration from close observation of the natural world and experiencing the globe's varied cultures. She has a free spirited sense of personal style, mixing thrift store finds with current trends.  The result are truly unique and fun socks for adults and for children.

Aside from supporting Big Blue Cuddle, Sweet Marcel also partnered with Orphan's Hope.org to benefit Orphan's in need in the Ukraine! They created Marcel Monsters hand crafted from Sweet & Wee Marcel sock samples/scraps. If you adopt a monster, you can either keep it for yourself or let it go live with an orphan in need.

Launched in 2012, the Monster’s Baby! collection is available for babies and kids aged 0 - 8 years. The brand is instantly recognisable thanks to its unique graphic prints, which are featured throughout the collection including t-shirts and babygrows.

Monster’s Baby! is unlike most other kids brands as it has been created by two ambitious London boys, VK Assi and Joe Olswang. Unable to find cool t-shirts for their little nieces and nephews, VK and Joe set about designing their own range. With VK’s background in graphic design and Joe’s career in the music industry, the two friends were well positioned to create a contemporary brand aimed at style conscious parents.
